Reckless. Grade: First
Our project was to choose a book and design a set for a chosen sequence. We had to storyboard a sequence and design the set to fit the action. I chose the Goyl Cave City. We were required to make a scale card model, technical drawings, concept art and storyboards. On this project I used AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, laser cutter, 3D printer and Photoshop.
Year 2
Mortal Engines. Grade: First
Our project was to build a set from the book "Mortal Engines" by Philip Reeve. We had to storyboard a sequence and design the set to fit the action. I chose the museum. We were required to make a scale card model, technical drawings, concept art and storyboards. On this project I used AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, laser cutter, 3D printer and Photoshop.
Year 2
Soap Opera. Grade: First
We were given a location on a soap street, I was given the post office, and we had to design it and the apartment above to fit the needs of a soap opera. We were required to make a scale card model, technical drawings, concept art and mood boards. On this project I used AutoCAD, 3DSmax, laser cutter and Photoshop.
Year 2
Canterville Ghost. Grade: First
We were told to design the house from "A Canterville Ghost" by Oscar Wilde. This house was from the 15th century and the book was set in the 17th. We had to film a property to film the exteriors and design the interiors to match.I found Plas Newydd in Anglesey. We were required to make a scale card model, technical drawings, concept art and storyboards. On this project I used AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
